After months of being cooped up, between school and quarantine, I'm ready to go somewhere. I'm ready to see the great outdoors! After all this time trapped inside and in front of a computer, wanderlust is calling.
But where to go? If you're like me, the obvious answer is "nature". You want to see some beautiful mountains and hike through luscious forests.
But WHAT Mountains, and WHAT forests?
To inform would be adventurers of what natural playgrounds our country has to offer and to help inspire future travels, I have created this infographic of the
ten most popular parks based on the visitor numbers from 2019 collected by the National Park Service.
I have also done some research and found a notable, unique, or otherwise appealing hike for each park for those looking for a place to start. Here's hoping that this infographic can inspire your future trips!
